Archived Information

On this page you will find all the information and documentation you need to take part in NUS Annual Conference 2008. The information is split into two columns – conference documents (or CDs) and supporting information. The first are the official documents relating to Conference, with the second column offering information that may prove useful to new and seasoned attendees alike.

Registration for Conference is now closed.
Accommodation information was emailed to delegates w/c 17 March. Please contact the events team, via events@nus.org.uk if you have not received your pack by 20 March 2008.

A.N. Others (unconfirmed delegate names) need to be updated by 1pm, Friday 28 March. Update names here https://www.regonline.co.uk/builder/site/Default.aspx?eventid=164495. Names not on the system by 28 March will not be admitted to Conference.

In order to register at Conference, you will need to bring your identity check note documents with you.

What should I bring?

     

NUS does not produce copies of many of the documents for Conference, so if you want them print them from here. There will be plenty of copies of CD16 | Final Motions, CD5 | Manifestos, and CD15 | Order Paper at the registration point at the event.

Consolidated Conference Documents contains all the other documents you may need for Conference. You can see them individually below.

Note that CD9 | Committee Reports will not be online until Tuesday 25th March.

In addition note it does not contain CD2 | Report and Plan which is available below.

CD1 |  Notice of Conference
Notice of Conference is the first in a series of documents in the run up to Annual Conference 2008. Notice of Conference is one of the most important documents as it lists all the deadlines for nominations, submitting motions and amendments and includes instructions on how to go about submitting policy for discussion and how to stand for election.

CD2 | NEC Report and Plan
The NEC Report and Plan is the key document outlining the plans of the National Executive this year arising out of policy passed at last year's Annual Conference.

Under 18 parental consent form. Please have this completed if your delegates are under 18.
