Priority Campaigns
06/09/2005

This year we have two priority campaigns within the LGBT Campaign. The first "Access All Areas" is our campaigns committment to fighting for Legal Equality, alongside our right to Access Education at every level without fear of Prejudice or Discrimination. Our second is called Lets Get Back Togther (LGBT) about ensuring we are involving all members of our community in our democracy, in our Ents, and in wider society.

We have launched our committment to have a hate crime reporting centre in every Students' Union in the Country, meaning that if you are LGB or T and facing discrimination and bullying you need no longer let your Education suffer in silence!

We will also be launching our ABC of LGBT guide, with all the essential tools to start, build and grow your LGBT group into the organisation your members deserve! If you have any thoughts and ideas as to what you would like to see your campaign working on feel free to eMail me at james-j.walsh@nus.org.uk and please do keep checking out the NUS LGBT webpages, these can be found at www.officeronline.co.uk/lgbt or for students at www.nusonline.co.uk/lgbt
