So far in 2005 I have visited a number of institutions. I visited UWE to participate in a debate for One World Week, Cardiff and UCL to prepare Yes Campaigners and a number of other Colleges and Unis to discuss everything from Elections and the Education Campaign to NUSSL. In no particular order I have been to Heriot Watt, Edinburgh, Essex, Cambridge, York, Lancaster.

Currently we are in the middle of regional conference week seems to be going pretty well although I am not absolutely sure it is correct for so many of the NEC to be present at these. While it is a required when asked at the London Region whether I thought it was worth me being there I said no. It cost NUS approx £150 for me to be there and if I don’t think it is worth it then I guess nobody else does!

Finally just a quick test to see if these blogs are actually serving a purpose. Does anyone actually read them? The first 5 people that E-mail me saying they’ve read the blog at gareth.smith@nus.org.uk will be bought a drink by myself at NUS Conference. Best of luck Gareth.
